Anne Frank

Anne Frank was a Jewish girl in WWII.  She was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1929.
When Anne was four her family moved to Amsterdam.   She lived in Amsterdam for two years.
When Hitler became ruler of Germany, in 1933, he started ordering his men to kill all Jews.   This is when Anne Frank and her family went into hiding.
For her 13th Birthday Anne received a Diary, which she called Kitty. It was published on TV in 2008.
After years of hiding, the Nazis found their hiding place. Her mother was killed in a Death Camp.  Anne and her sister were transported to a Polish Concentration Camp.
Anne watched her sister die, then Anne died the next day.
