Welcome to the Arduthie Primary 7 – WWII Project

This website documents Arduthie Primary School’s P7A and P7B’s project on Stonehaven in the Second World War.  It was created to provide a digital record of their research for future generations of students.
The information ranges from stories about relatives who served in various regiments during the war to first hand accounts of evacuees.  There are also interviews with local people about their wartime experiences.
The project is an excellent example of Curriculum for Excellence as can be seen from the children’s virtual tour of their museum, gift shop and café.  Hopefully this site, along with the teacher’s resources, will inspire other teachers along the way.
